Jelly Products
Safety & Care

Jelly Products are made for gentle squeezing and sensory fun! This page covers helpful information about playing with and caring for your Jelly Products, and what to do if something goes wrong. Please read it all โ€” especially the warning below.

WARNING: Burn Hazard โ€” Never Heat Your Jelly Products

DO NOT microwave, boil, heat, or freeze this product, or expose it to high temperatures of any kind.

Heating may cause the filling inside to become extremely hot and the toy to rupture or burst, releasing hot, sticky material that can stick to skin and cause serious burns.

Do not leave your Jelly Products in: hot cars, direct sunlight, near heaters or radiators, on or near hot surfaces (stoves, ovens, dishwashers, laundry machines), or any other place where it may become hot.

If your Jelly Products has become hot or has been exposed to high temperatures, DO NOT SQUEEZE IT. Allow it to cool completely to room temperature before handling.

Important: the outside of the toy may not feel hot even when the filling inside is dangerously hot. When in doubt, wait.

Never puncture, cut, bite, or tear your Jelly Products, and do not use it if it is damaged. If it ruptures or leaks, avoid contact with the filling, keep it away from children and pets, and see the disposal instructions below.

First Aid

If hot filling contacts skin

Do not wipe, rub, or pull the material off โ€” this can make the burn worse. Immediately cool the affected area under cool (not ice-cold) running water for at least 20 minutes. Do not apply ice, butter, creams, or ointments.

Remove any clothing or jewelry near the burn before swelling begins, unless it is stuck to the skin. Seek medical attention for any burn beyond minor redness, any burn on a child, or any burn to the face, hands, or joints.

If filling gets in eyes

Flush gently with clean water for several minutes and seek medical attention.

If filling is swallowed

Jelly Products filling is not a food and should never be eaten. If any amount is swallowed, contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 (US).

Seek medical attention if the person feels unwell.

In any emergency, call 911. Outside the US, contact your local emergency services or poison information center.

Age Recommendation

Ages 5 and up

Jelly Products are for ages 5 and up. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD โ€” Small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Keep away from babies, toddlers, and pets.

Always follow the age recommendation and safety information printed on your specific product's packaging.

What's Inside a Jelly Products?

Jelly Products are filled with a thick gel made from food-grade sugars โ€” mainly dextrose (a simple sugar also known as glucose), with small amounts of maltose and maltotriose. These are the same sugars found in everyday foods. The formulation has been independently assessed by Intertek, an accredited third-party laboratory.

Important: "made from food-grade sugars" does not mean Jelly Products are edible, and it does not mean they are heat-safe. The filling is not a food product โ€” and like sugar syrup on a stove, it can become extremely hot when heated and stick to skin. Never eat, chew, or heat your Jelly Products.

Play Safely

  • Always read the warnings printed on your product's packaging.
  • Not a food product. Do not eat, chew, or put in your mouth.
  • Do not poke, bite, pierce, or cut your Jelly Products.
  • Avoid excessive pulling, stretching, twisting, or squeezing.
  • Keep away from sharp objects and rough surfaces.

Keep Your Jelly Products Cool

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • Keep away from hot water, heaters, and heat-producing appliances.
  • Never leave your Jelly Products in a car.

Keep It Clean

Gently wipe your Jelly Products with a soft, damp cloth. If needed, use a small amount of mild soap and wipe clean. Let it dry completely before storing.

Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners, and never wash your Jelly Products in hot water, a dishwasher, or a washing machine.

Check Before You Squish

Always inspect your Jelly Products before playing. If it is torn, punctured, damaged, leaking, discolored, or has changed texture, stop using it immediately. Do not attempt to repair a damaged Jelly Products with glue or tape.

Disposing of a Damaged Jelly Products

If your Jelly Products is damaged or leaking: avoid touching the filling, seal the toy in a plastic bag, and place it in your household trash. Wash your hands with soap and water after handling. Keep the damaged toy away from children and pets until it's disposed of. Jelly Products should not be composted or recycled.
